  Thechikottukavu Ramachandran nick name as raman. The elephant is under the control of thechikottukavu devaswom. Now Raman is 46 years old. He has a height of 316 cm. he lives in Thrissur district in Kerala. Raman is a big elephant with the big forehead, and long trunk and tusk. He lifts his forehead with the thidambu during a festival for a long time. So he has a unique identity among Kerala elephants. Raman is popularly called as ‘king of poorams’.because of his nilavu (head lifting) feature he is the ‘super star of festivals’. Raman takes part in almost all festivals in Kerala. Mangalamkunnu Ayyappan Mangalamkunnu Ayyappan by his stature alone commands respect amongst all other elephants in Kerala.Add to that the fact that he is a white elephant which is regarded as rare and having blessings of God.You can see that the hair near its tail, near its mouth, and near the ears are white which are some signs. With the demand for him increasing more and more all over Kerala he is defeating those elephants which were thought invincible. he is the best elephant both in looks and he also he is best in head lifting Pampadi Rajan is the tallest elephant of Kerala Origin. Its speciality is its special Black colour. It also has a very long and widest Trunk among Kerala elephants. Its Edaneelam (length between front and back legs) is very good. Guruvayoor Valiyakesavan is an excellent Bihari. He is the next King of Guruvayoor After Padmanabhan. He was given the name Kesavan because people say that he looks like the great "GURUVAYOOR KESAVAN Chirakkal Kalidasan He is a Karnataka elephant, bought by Maduettan from Manissery Hariettan. his body structure showed that he was the growing type. His tusks were closely bent towards each other (Kootu kombu). Madhuettan then worked very hard on his tusks using clamps as well as routine pressing on horizontally placed timber to get them the way they are now Thiruvambady sivasundar is also known as pookodan Sivan He has a height of 304 cm. he is lives in Thrissur district in Kerala. The major attractions are a long trunk, flat forehead. Long legs and tail etc. the record says that thiruvambady sivasundar is the most valuable elephant in Kerala.Sivasundr carries the thidambu of thiruvambadi bhagavathi during Thrissur pooram. Sivasundar meets all gajalakshanams mentioned in mathangaleela.
